I read a lot of reviews trying to figure out the right size to order, so hopefully this will help others. I'm 5'9", 180 (+/-) lbs, athletic build, typically wear M slim-fit shirts, 33x30 pants. The S/M was the right size for me. Sleeves were just a little shorter than I would have liked (maybe another 1/2"-1") and the legs were a bit long (2"), but with boots, it wasn't really that obvious. The overall fit was good. It was just a little tight when fully zipped and getting on/off - once you step in, getting the arms took a little twisting. The front has a double zipper so when zipped up with the top zipper, you can also zip up from the bottom when nature calls. The costume itself is great - good quality, many zipper pockets (2 chest pockets, 1 upper right thigh, 2 lower leg) and front/arm patches. As noted, there are both Maverick and Goose velcro patches. As others have noted, the bottom of the legs have zippers so I don't think there is a (easy) way to hem the legs if needed. There are also velcro bands on each wrist and both sides of the waist, to tighten as needed. Add a pair of sunglasses and dog tags (bought on Amazon) and you're all set! I also bought the M/L since I wasn't sure which size would fit. I didn't even bother trying it on, the legs would have been comically long.

..I am 6'2 250 so I figured to be safe and order an extra large..this thing is huge with room to spare. The quality seems good for something in this price range and it looks good. I threw it in the wash because it smelled like its been on a shelf for a while, other than that it will need to be ironed, but this is a good buy! Update!!! I washed it on easy cold/cold and dried it low heat and it now fits perfectly!!!

Fit well, just had to pay more than I would wanted to

To start with, I'm not huge on dressing up for Halloween, but my roommates decided to throw a huge Halloween party so I kind of had to. I'm a huge fan of Top Gun, so I decided that I'd dress up as Maverick. I looked all over the internet for a costume, and stumbled upon this one. It seemed like a pretty good product, and I was correct. This costume is pretty awesome and feels really legit. I do like the interchangable name tags, so one person can be goose and the other Maverick. I'm about 5'10" and 190lbs. It was a little tight around the back, so don't plan on doing any physical activities with it. It did get a little hot, but I live in North Carolina, so keep that in mind. Overall, it was a great costume for a night of drinking.

This is a great costume and doesnt look cheap whatsoever, which is always a concern with Halloween costumes. It has tons of pockets which can hold a lot too! I'm a 6'2" female and ordered a small/medium which fit perfectly and was a good pant length.
