Some of us have the notion that “lingerie is not made for everyone,” but you couldn’t be more wrong. Lingerie is made for everyone, you just have to know the right styles, fabrics, and colors that will best compliment your body. Here are a couple of lingerie tips to classify your dos and don’ts!
Like What You Buy: Don’t buy something that is nothing like your personal style. It will just make you feel even more uncomfortable, which is not sexy. So buy colors and prints that you would normally wear. As a side note, you can’t go wrong with black, red, or cheetah print lingerie.
Take Pride in What You Wear: Just because you are the only one who is going to see it does not mean it can look raggedy! Wearing presentable bras and undies shouldn’t depend on who will see them, in the grand scheme of things you are the one who matters the most.
Have a Matching Pair: Simple concept, have tops and bottoms that actually go together and match. Nothing is more of a turn off to a guy than for a girl to have to dash away to “get ready.” If you stay ready you never have to get ready, and it’ll just add to the intensity of the moment of course!
Buy Your Size: wearing a smaller size will not make you look smaller; it will actually do the opposite. So just wear a size that actually fits you, no one is looking at the size but you. Your man only cares that you look hot! Besides, he’s already with you so he knows your size, so just enhance your assets and not try to hide your flaws.
Less is Not More: This is a common misconception. Its just reality that not all of us look like a Victoria Secret model and can pull off a bra and thong set. Get what looks flattering on you. Lingerie has a wide range of styles like babydolls, teddies, chemises, bodystockings, bra and panty sets, long dresses, mini dresses, etc. So get what best compliments your size and body type.
Don’t Buy Cheap Lingerie: I understand that we may all be out looking for a great bargain, but some things you just can’t be cheap on, and lingerie is one of them! You don’t want to have to worry too hard about your sexy little number ripping or tearing (unless your into that sort of thing.) Nevertheless, you don’t want your lingerie to be ripped or torn at your man’s first glance.
