Have Trunk Will Travel Inc. provided Tai, the elephant model in our costume catalogs. Have Trunk Will Travel, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of endangered Asian elephants. They are licensed and inspected by federal, state and local animal welfare agencies, and are involved in national and international conservation efforts such as the International Elephant Foundation, American Zoo and Aquarium Association, Elephant Managers Association and the Species Survival Plan. Its an incredible family run organization ensuring the future of the Asian elephant.
Here’s the fun stuff… or I consider having your supervisor/older sister picked up by an elephant fun! Everything came together at this shoot. Thank you to LA Circus and Have Trunk Will Travel for providing us with incredible props and most well mannered pachyderms ever!
So… Leg Avenue photoshoots dont really look like those crazy “America’s Next Top Model” shoots. Usually the hours are longer, the work more tedious, and frankly, the crew would smack the models upside the head for whining or bitching. Once a year though, we get to shoot the cover and title pages of our costume catalog… its ON then…. This year, we had the pleasure of working with L.A. Circus in creating the biggest and best production we’ve ever attempted. The Leg Avenue Greatest Show on Earth! Here are some of the final products.
Fa lalalala la la la laaaaaaaaa!!!! update on what we’re working on here… We just did the Christmas photoshoot a few weeks ago and just finished the catalog. We should be ready to ship out the catalogs by July… Exactly when everyone’s thinking about snowflakes and fa lalalala la la la laaaaa!!!! attached are some outtakes from the shoot
